We are currently searching for a Human Resources Manager to support our People team across all HR functions. This individual will manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and off-boarding. The HR Manager will also maintain relationships with KREWE’s external vendors, including insurance administrators and our HRIS. As KREWE continues to transform their People function, this individual will assist in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining contemporary HR policies and procedures. The Manager will also provide HR business partner support to our In-person (retail) function, recruiting for open store level positions and supporting leadership with any people matters. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is based in our New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead payroll and benefits administration for all staff, including full-time, part-time, hourly, and salaried employees
  • Serve as HRIS subject matter expert, ensuring employee data is accurate, and employees have a positive experience within the system
  • Manage employee lifecycle, including but not limited onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, employee grievances and offboarding to deliver consistent and compliant experience aligned with the culture and brand
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and orientation sessions are conducted, to deliver a consistent and timely experience aligned with KREWE culture and brand
  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries
  • Support performance management initiatives to retain and develop high-potential talent and prompt management of underperformers by preparing materials and tracking evaluation timelines
  • Provide support in training and development initiatives by scheduling sessions, tracking participation, and vetting success
  • Serve as point person for company policies and procedures, assisting employees as needed, ensuing compliance with legal requirements and company standards
  • Provide HR business partner support to KREWE’s Inperson (retail) function, recruiting for open store level positions and supporting people needs
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and culture

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years experience in Human Resources, ideally in a startup environment or growing organization
  • Experience running payroll and administering benefits in a multistate environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the HR field
  • Experience in Google Suite is preferred
  • Experience working withRippling ATS a plus
