L2L is on a mission to empower workers to manufacture better together. The Connected Workforce Software market is exploding, and L2L is at the forefront, providing software that enables manufacturing facilities to drive efficiency and productivity across the plant floor. Our modern technology provides real-time visibility and action-driving tools that enable the entire workforce to systematically identify and solve problems, and provides workers with the personalized information they need to do their best work. L2L thereby improves overall equipment. At L2L, we're leading Connected Manufacturing Operations.
Manufacturers don't have a data problem - they have an action problem. Every day, disconnected systems, siloed teams, and fragmented workflows create unnecessary downtime, reduce productivity, and make it harder for frontline employees to do their best work.
L2L solves that challenge by unifying people, machines, and workflows to increase productivity every shift, every day. Our platform combines operational data, AI, maintenance, production, skills, and shop floor execution to help manufacturers spot and solve problems in real time.l and resources to develop already-great businesses into market leaders.
We're looking for a Software Engineer in the greater Salt Lake City area to join our team:
L2L has a new mobile app. It replaced a long-running legacy app in 2026 and is now in the hands of frontline workers across hundreds of sites, on both iOS and Android, from a single React Native and Expo codebase. A small team owns everything from the first line of TypeScript to the staged store rollout, and we're building automated verification and release systems that let that team ship at a pace normally reserved for much larger ones. You’d join at a stage where you can have a real impact on both the product and how the team builds and ships it.
Here's How You Can Drive Action That Matters
Top Outcomes:
Ship Mobile Apps Frontline Workers Trust: Build and release L2L mobile apps that operators, technicians, and supervisors use to raise, receive, and resolve problems on the shop floor, and keep it fast, stable, and reliable on real devices in real plants.
Own the Full Path to Production: Run a modern Expo and React Native pipeline for two platforms: native builds, staged store rollouts, over-the-air updates, and post-release monitoring, with the authority to change any of it.
Build How We Verify Software: Design and extend AI-assisted pipelines that he app on simulators, emulators, and physical devices, and check releases before a person does, so quality scales with the team rather than with headcount.
What You'll Do:
Mobile Product Engineering
Notifications & Alerting
Release Engineering & Quality
Engineering Systems & AI Verification
Platform Contributions
Ship fixes and small features in the Python and Django backend and the Vue frontend when the right fix for a mobile problem lives there. Coordinate with web and backend teams on API changes that affect mobile users.
Voice of the User
Read session analytics and crash data to find where users struggle, and turn it into prioritised work. Join customer calls and pilot rollouts, and bring findings back to Product and Engineering. Write clear investigation notes, tickets, and release summaries so the whole team can follow the reasoning.
