About the Role
The Senior BI Developer plays a pivotal role in transforming data into powerful insights that shape strategic decisions and fuel business growth. In this role, you’ll design and enhance dynamic semantic data models, as well as build impactful reports and dashboards that bring complex data to life.
You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams, turning raw data into clear, actionable intelligence that empowers leaders to make confident, data-driven decisions. Your Key Contributions
- Design, develop and manage certified semantic models and reports used to drive business decisions.
- Design and build analytical reports and dashboards connected to semantic models to present KPIs and drive actionable insights.
- Leverage Git-integrated workflows within Microsoft Fabric to support version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing processes
- Apply optimization techniques within Power BI reports. Ensure report performance through tuning DAX measures, report design, and other best practices.
- Follow data governance, quality and security standards across platforms in compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.
- Partner with analysts, developers, and business users to translate data needs into scalable solutions. Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Maintain clear documentation for processes, semantic models, and measure definitions. Use monitoring solutions for performance and health checks.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business analytics, finance, accounting, or related business field.
- 5+ years experience in a BI or a Data Analyst role, with a focus on cloud-based solutions, star schema data models, and building reports from the ground up.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and DAX
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights effectively and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of business processes and key performance metrics.
- Demonstrated proficiency with navigating & using ERP and/or CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
- Experience in a production/manufacturing environment a plus.
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI strongly recommended

- Monday- Friday 8:30 am -5:00 pm EST

- Compensation: $26.60-$34.50
