Clinic Operations Specialist

About Monovo
Monovo helps healthcare providers extend care beyond the walls of the clinic. We combine technology, remote care programs, and hands-on support to help patients stay connected to their care teams and receive more proactive, continuous care.

Our work sits at the intersection of patients, providers, clinic operations, technology, care delivery, revenue, customer relationships, and business growth. We are building a healthcare company where technology supports the care - it does not replace the human relationship at the center of it.

Why Monovo

There are a lot of places to build a career in healthcare. Monovo is different because we are not trying to improve healthcare from the sidelines. We work directly alongside clinics and patients, which means the people on our team get unusually close to how the business actually works.

  • See healthcare from every angle. You will gain exposure to patients, providers, clinic operations, technology, revenue, relationships, and growth - not just one narrow function.
  • Stay close to the patient. You will see the human impact of the work you do, not just the numbers behind it.
  • Learn how strong clinic partnerships are built. Our success depends on understanding our clinic partners deeply and becoming a valuable extension of their teams.
  • Grow as the company grows. As Monovo expands, new problems, teams, markets, and leadership opportunities will continue to emerge.

You will not just learn how to do a job. You will learn how to help build a healthcare company from the ground up.

About the role

The Clinic Operations Specialist works directly with Monovo partner clinics and serves as a key connection point between patients, clinic staff, and Monovo teams. The role combines healthcare operations, relationship management, patient engagement, clinic partnership, problem-solving, and business operations.

You will help Monovo programs operate successfully within each clinic while creating a strong experience for both patients and clinic partners. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to build a career in healthcare operations, account management, partnerships, business, or healthcare leadership.

The Opportunity

If you want to build a career in healthcare leadership, it can be difficult to find an early-career role that actually teaches you how the business works. Many roles give you exposure to only one piece of an organization. This role is different.

As a Clinic Operations Specialist, you will be positioned where some of the most important parts of Monovo's business come together: patients, providers, clinic relationships, operations, technology, revenue, and growth.

  • Learn the healthcare business from the ground up. Understand how patient experience, clinic operations, revenue, technology, and business performance connect.
  • Build real business relationships. Learn how to earn trust, influence without authority, navigate difficult conversations, and become a valuable partner to providers and clinic teams.
  • Develop beyond one function. Gain experience across operations, account management, patient engagement, process improvement, revenue cycle, technology, and business strategy.
  • See the impact of your work. You will be close enough to the work to see how your actions affect patients, clinic partners, and business performance.
  • Solve real problems. We want you to notice where things are breaking, ask why, and help make them better - not simply follow a checklist.
  • Earn more responsibility. This role is intended for someone who wants to prove what they can do, expand their scope, and grow into increasingly meaningful ownership.

What You'll Do

  • Build strong relationships with clinic providers, staff, and patients.
  • Help patients understand and engage with Monovo programs.
  • Guide patients through enrollment and onboarding.
  • Navigate questions, concerns, and difficult conversations with empathy and confidence.
  • Support day-to-day clinic operations and solve problems as they arise.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and the patient experience.
  • Partner with internal Monovo teams to support clinic performance and growth.
  • Learn how patient engagement, clinic operations, revenue, and business performance connect.

Who We're Looking For

  • Excellent at building relationships and establishing trust.
  • Empathetic and genuinely interested in helping people.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with people you do not already know.
  • Able to guide, influence, and persuade without being pushy.
  • Confident navigating objections, hesitation, conflict, or difficult conversations.
  • Business-minded and curious about how healthcare organizations operate.
  • Proactive and willing to identify what needs to be done rather than waiting for direction.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership from beginning to end.
  • Comfortable learning new technology, systems, and processes.
  • Excited by responsibility, growth, and a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Leadership, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or Public Health.
  • Entry-level candidates may apply without prior healthcare experience.
  • Mid-level candidates must have previous healthcare experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately one week per month.
  • Comfortable working independently in a clinic environment.
  • MBA, healthcare-focused MBA, MHA, or similar graduate degree preferred but not required.

Compensation and Travel

  • $50,000-$80,000 annual base salary.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Final compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
  • Expect to travel approximately one week per month.
  • Travel may include clinic visits, partner relationship-building, trainings, operational support, new clinic launches, and other business needs.

Growth Opportunity

We do not view the Clinic Operations Specialist role as an endpoint. For the right person, it can provide a foundation for broader responsibility and future leadership opportunities as Monovo grows.

Potential growth areas may include:

  • Clinic or account management
  • Healthcare operations
  • Customer success
  • Partnerships
  • Market or regional operations
  • Business operations
  • Healthcare leadership

We are looking for someone who wants more than their next job. We want someone who wants to learn the business from the ground up, take on increasing responsibility, and grow into larger leadership opportunities over time.
