Lead complex software engineering and modernization work without leaving the technical track. As a Senior Full Stack Developer at MWCIA, you will own cross-system application solutions, shape technical designs and reusable engineering patterns, mentor developers, and improve production reliability across a business-critical application portfolio. You will remain deeply hands-on across C#/.NET, React, SQL, APIs, Azure, DevOps, security, and modernization while influencing how solutions are designed and delivered. This role is ideal for an advanced engineer who wants significant technical ownership and cross-functional influence without direct people-management responsibility.
The Senior Full Stack Developer is an advanced technical individual contributor responsible for designing, engineering, and improving complex application solutions across MWCIA's application portfolio. The role combines deep hands-on development expertise with solution-level design, modernization leadership, reusable engineering patterns, production reliability, and cross-functional technical direction.
You will own complex cross-system solutions and major modernization efforts, evaluate technical tradeoffs, establish practical development standards, and mentor other developers. The role influences application architecture and engineering direction within enterprise guardrails but does not require direct people management or hold final enterprise architecture authority.
· Design and own complex full-stack solutions across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, integrations, and Azure services, translating ambiguous requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable designs.
· Lead application modernization, major upgrades, legacy decomposition, and cross-system integration efforts while evaluating dependencies, migration risk, technical debt, and future-state needs.
· Establish and improve reusable development patterns, coding standards, automated testing approaches, peer-review practices, CI/CD, deployment automation, observability, and secure delivery practices.
· Serve as a senior technical resource for high-complexity production incidents, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, application security, resilience, and release readiness.
· Mentor developers, lead design and code reviews, facilitate technical decisions, create reusable documentation, and raise engineering capability across the team.
· Lead complex technical workstreams and partner across Business Solutions, quality engineering, platform/cloud, data engineering, vendors, and business leaders to align solution design with business outcomes.
· Evaluate technical options and recommend practical solution-level direction while escalating enterprise architecture, platform strategy, or material risk decisions appropriately.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
· 7+ years of progressive software/application development experience, including significant ownership of complex full-stack systems using C#/.NET, modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, SQL/relational databases, APIs, and cloud-based environments.
· Advanced experience designing and troubleshooting complex application architectures, integrations, database solutions, automated testing, CI/CD, production reliability, performance, and secure software-development practices.
· Demonstrated experience leading complex technical workstreams, modernization efforts, design/code reviews, technical standards, and cross-functional problem solving.
· Strong systems-thinking, communication, mentoring, and tradeoff-analysis skills with the ability to influence technical decisions without formal authority.
· Experience with Microsoft Azure application architecture, React, C#/.NET, Azure DevOps, Blazor, REST APIs, distributed systems, modern authentication/security patterns, infrastructure integration, or modernization of significant legacy application portfolios.
· Experience in a regulated or security-conscious environment and/or leading technical architecture for business-critical applications.
