The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) harvests innovative technology from the commercial and non-defense marketplace, transforming government innovation while decreasing costs, compressing timelines, and improving outcomes. We offer a unique and simplified approach to rapidly developing, demonstrating, and assessing prototypes that address various operational and installation needs, from individual Warfighter technology to large-scale installation projects. NSTXL supports technology delivery to the Department of Defense by serving as a one-stop shop to match government requirements with innovative private-sector and academic solutions.


NSTXL is creating an ecosystem of innovators to collaborate and bring next-generation technologies to the end-user. Our OTAs have over 900 members from corporate, non-profit, educational, and financial institutions. For these members, NSTXL offers opportunities to bid on government contracts, education and training, and live/virtual forums on various topics.


Job Description:

The Program Marketing Manager is responsible for managing a program marketing team by growing client and stakeholder relationships while ensuring successful delivery of program and marketing initiatives. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, marketing teams, program teams, and internal stakeholders, aligning strategic objectives with execution to drive engagement, satisfaction, and measurable outcomes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Program Strategy and Execution 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute strategies aligned with program goals and project delivery 
  • Provide direction to program marketing efforts to ensure alignment with strategic objectives 
  • Oversee program marketing activities, including timelines, deliverables, and coordination 

Program Operations and Delivery  

  • Lead recurring meetings to review progress, set agendas, assign tasks, and ensure follow-up 
  • Track execution across initiatives to maintain timelines and deliverables 
  • Prepare reports and summaries on program activities and outcomes 

Communications and Marketing 

  • Oversee development and distribution of program communications, including digital content, events, and outreach 
  • Create marketing materials aligned with brand guidelines 
  • Utilize digital tools and platforms to support marketing execution 

Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach 

  • Build and maintain relationships with government and industry stakeholders 
  • Represent the organization at conferences and industry events 
  • Engage community members to drive interaction and participation 
  • Respond to member and prospective member inquiries regarding program opportunities 

Research, Events, and Growth Support 

  • Guide research and outreach efforts to identify opportunities and stakeholders 
  • Support planning and execution of program-related events 
  • Develop tools and strategies to support collaboration and networking among members and partners 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to anticipate needs and prepare resources and templates 
  • Act as liaison between marketing and program teams to tailor approach 


Qualifications Expected for Position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field 
  • Minimum 5years of marketing or communications experience  
  • Minimum 1 year in a leadership capacity managing a team of 2 or more 
  • Experience using CRM and CMS, social media, and marketing automation tools and familiar with digital marketing concepts.   
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills to successfully coordinate multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Great time management skills, coordinate multiple activities at once, and readjust schedule for unexpected requests  
  • Dependable and deadline oriented, with exemplary attention to detail  
  • Data driven and able to pivot marketing tactics based off reporting metrics  
  • Effectively communicates and works extremely well with others 
  • Ability to translate client goals into multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive program objectives  
  • Strong technology skills and confidence necessary to learn unfamiliar programs quickly and efficiently, is required  
  • Self-starter that can manage workload with limited assistance 


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience with marketing automation software, such as Salesforce, WordPress, Zoom/ZoomGov, and HubSpot
  • Understanding of social media platforms, from a creative and operational perspective
  • Prior experience working with the Department of War (DoW)

Required license or credential needed to perform job: Ability to receive security clearance

Travel:

  • Travel for this position is estimated up to ≤35%
