JOB DESCRIPTION
The service Foreman provides leadership and support to the Service Superintendent in scheduling, planning, coordinating, supervising, and cost control in all cooling tower service activities.
Extensive travel is required depending on project location.
ROLES/TASKS OF THE POSITION
· Ensure safety, compliance with OBR policies, and fair application of procedures at the worksite.
· Oversee training, productivity, and performance of crews servicing cooling towers.
· Lead cooling tower technicians to ensure tasks assigned by the Superintendent are executed safely, efficiently, on time, and to OBR quality standards.
· Occasionally manage small projects independently in the absence of Superintendents and oversee field crew members.
· Lead daily and weekly safety meetings; complete incident reports as required.
· Perform and assist with preventative maintenance services for cooling towers.
· Complete service documents professionally and provide to customers.
· Manage customer objections and concerns in a professional way to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Perform work at heights while maintaining 100% tie-off when above 4 feet.
· Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors and Managers.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· At least 1 year experience in field cooling tower service.
· Knowledge of Windows based applications.
· Knowledge and application of safety standards through OSHA training and experience.
