About the role

You already make things people stop scrolling for, and you use AI to do it. In this AI-first role, you'll do the same for a number of our websites. You'll create articles, guides and features with AI from the first draft to the finished piece, along with the images, carousels and short video clips that go with them. Our sites cover gaming, entertainment, sport, local news and more. The aim is pages people want to read and share, made at a pace a traditional writing team can't match.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Create with AI every day: news, guides, lists and features, plus the visuals and clips that bring them to life.
• Keep pages fresh: update older articles when facts, rankings or style change.
• Find the hook: open every piece with something that makes the reader stay.
• Make it sound human: cut robotic phrasing and give each piece the voice of the site it's for.
• Get the facts right: check every name, date and number before it goes live. We'll train you in how we do it.
• Follow each site's style guide: its voice, its look and its best articles. Add to the guide when you settle something new.
• Watch what works: see how readers respond and bring ideas for what to make next.
• Improve the tools: suggest better prompts, workflows and skills as you learn.
• Keep a steady rhythm: several finished pieces a day, to an agreed quality bar.

Requirements:

• A portfolio of things you've made: posts, videos, threads, articles, anything that shows how you work, with or without AI.
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to learn it fast. If you already use AI tools for writing, images or video, show us how; if not, we'll train you.
• Strong written English.
• An instinct for what people click, watch and share.
• Willingness to learn editorial standards and fact-checking. We'll train you.
• Comfort picking up new tools quickly, including a code-style editor such as Claude Code or Codex.

Nice to have:

• A background in gaming, tech or IT.
• Video editing experience.
• A social channel, page or community you've grown.
