PCMI, LLC

Product Manager

PCMI is a fast-growing global SaaS company and a market leader in extended warranty, F&I, and service contract administration. Our platform automates the entire product lifecycle for customers worldwide — and we're just getting started. With teams across North America (US & Canada), Europe (Poland), and Asia (India), we're modernizing our architecture, embedding AI across our products, and scaling to meet growing demand. We move fast, we build with purpose, and we're hiring leaders who want to shape what comes next.

What You’ll Do

This leadership role helps drive platform vision and execution under the strategic direction of the Chief Product Officer. A critical leader to the growth of the company, the Product Manager leads a team of Product Owners to develop and execute on the strategy for a business domain within PCRS. This includes building business cases, validating the strategy with customers, and working with their team to build a set of requirements and backlog to execute on that strategy.

The position requires the ideal candidate to have SaaS platform software experience combined with strong knowledge of the business domain and the associated operational flows in customer environments. A successful candidate is comfortable taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving and is able to work collaboratively with other Product Managers and Engineering while primarily focused on enhancing the product value within their business domain. The Product Manager must articulate strategy and requirements in terms of value delivered to the customer, and will also establish projects that see product development all the way through to adoption in the PCMI customer base.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, communicate and deliver on the product strategy around a core business domain.
  • Develop ROI business cases and go to market value propositions around the product strategy.
  • Validate the strategy with customers, including a willingness to pay.
  • Develop and defend a roadmap (and budget to deliver the roadmap).
  • Set priorities for the product owner and development teams.
  • Participate in backlog refinement and ensure developed product meets market need.
  • Partner with development leadership on non-functional needs such as security, scalability, performance, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
  • Be able to present strategy and associated customer value propositions to senior management to create organizational alignment.
  • Present roadmap and business value to customers during workshops and QBRs.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Define and track product success metrics such as adoption, retention, net revenue retention, and ARR impact.
  • Understand and protect the product customer base and associated revenue.
  • Protect the existing revenue stream and customer base by ensuring all investment evolves customers forward and no customers are left on a software “island”.
  • Make sure all cross functional teams are ready to support a product in market; this includes sales and services readiness, product definition, pricing, contracting and billing and more.
  • Develop a high performing team of product owners.
  • Manage day to day priorities for their team.
  • Develop processes to help the team efficiently translate product strategy to product backlog.
  • Mentor team members to grow their skill set, helping them achieve their career goals.
  • Provide a pathway for team member growth through PCMI.
  • Continuously develop professional skills and capabilities.
  • Pursue certifications through Pragmatic Institute or similar programs to deepen knowledge of product management best practices.
  • Partner with the CPO to learn product portfolio, P&L and go to market practices.
