Location: Remote (Candidates residing in Arizona preferred)

Reports to: Special Programs Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

About Primavera Online School

Primavera Online School is an accredited, tuition-free public charter school serving

students across Arizona for more than 25 years. We specialize in flexible, student-

centered online education designed to meet learners where they are—academically,

emotionally, and socially.

We believe every student deserves access to an education that adapts to their life, not the

other way around. At Primavera, we support diverse learners, empower families, and

partner closely with educators to create personalized learning experiences that drive

real outcomes. Our work is grounded in care, accountability, and a deep commitment to

helping students succeed—both in school and beyond.

As a fully remote organization, we value clear communication, collaboration, and

ownership. You’ll find a mission-driven team that takes its responsibility to students

seriously while supporting one another as professionals and humans.

The Team You Will Join

You’ll be part of the Exceptional Student Services team, working closely with students,

faculty, staff, and families. This team is responsible for ensuring that eligible students

receive appropriate accommodations and services, in full compliance with federal and

state laws.

The team culture is collaborative, supportive, and compliance-focused, and you’ll have

opportunities to support students and influence processes that strengthen our

operations while partnering across Primavera Online School.

The Difference You Will Make

In this role, your work will directly impact students with disabilities by ensuring they

receive equitable access to educational opportunities, appropriate accommodations, and

the support needed to succeed by identifying student needs and addressing those

through individualized, legally compliant Section 504 plans.

You’ll help to support learners by ensuring compliance, enhancing student experience,

and drive academic success for our student, contributing to Primavera’s mission in a

meaningful and visible way.

A Typical Day Looks Like

While no two days are exactly the same, you can expect to:

  • Coordinate the Section 504 referral, evaluation, eligibility, plan development, review, and reevaluation processes.
  • Facilitate Section 504 meetings with families, students, teachers, administrators, and other relevant team members.
  • Develop individualized Section 504 plans that clearly identify students’ needs, accommodations, and supports.
  • Communicate Section 504 plans and responsibilities clearly to teachers and other staff members.
  • Use IEP Pro to develop, document, maintain, and update legally compliant Section 504 plans.
  • This position requires availability to work core business hours of 8:00AM to 5:00 PM Arizona time, Monday through Friday.
  • Must be available to work in person for approximately six weeks each year to support Arizona state testing, including travel to assigned testing locations.

This role balances independent work, collaboration, structure, problem-solving, and

execution and is well-suited for someone who enjoys supporting students, managing

details, communicating clearly and working with purpose.

Your Expertise Includes

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong knowledge of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, student eligibility requirements, procedural safeguards, and compliance expectations.
  • Ability to develop, document, and maintain individualized Section 504 plans using IEP Pro.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills when working with students, families, educators, administrators, and service providers.
  • Strong organization, time-management, and case-management skills, with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data and documentation to make eligibility decisions.
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card & provide photo copy of the front & back side.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Previous school or school leadership experience preferred.
  • Valid Arizona teaching, administrative, counseling, or related certificate preferred

lived experiences.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace where all team

ideas strengthen our school, improve outcomes for students, and help us better serve the

families and communities who rely on us.

How We’ll Take Care of You

  • Generous PTO options, including unlimited PTO for exempt roles and “life happens” days when flexibility is needed
