About the role

As one of the leading online fashion brands, Princess Polly Retail Stores is nothing short of exhilarating! We create world-class in store customer experiences, build brand loyalty, host influencer events, and drive sales through client relationships. Our SoHo location is our flagship store and a key expression of the Princess Polly brand in the heart of New York City. We are looking for a General Manager to lead a passionate, skilled and innovative team that is obsessed with making an outstanding impression on every person who walks through the door.

As the leader of our flagship location, our General Manager has the opportunity to set the standard for what Princess Polly looks and feels like in store, influence the evolution of our retail experience and play a visible role in bringing the brand to life through customers, community, events and culture. What you'll do

• Lead from the front, creating a customer experience that is unforgettable and uniquely Princess Polly
• Set the standard for our flagship store experience
• Drive the performance of a high volume, high energy store, delivering on key KPIs including conversion, ATV and UPT
• Build, coach and inspire a team who live and breathe Princess Polly, lifting capability and confidence every day
• Oversee stock flow, replenishment and sell-through to maximize availability and keep the store shoppable at all times
• Deliver visual merchandising and presentation standards that are iconic, on brand and always inspiring
• Manage recruiting, payroll control and scheduling to balance customer experience with business performance
• Ensure compliance, reporting, cash handling and loss prevention are executed with precision and accountability
• Partner closely with Retail Leadership, HQ and cross-functional teams to bring major campaigns, influencer moments, events and brand activations to life in our flagship
• Celebrate the wins, fuel the vibe and make every shift one the team wants to be part of

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading a team of 5 or more team members
• An experienced retail leader with proven success managing a high volume, flagship, focal or high-profile store
• Customer obsessed with a natural instinct for creating unforgettable in-store moments that connect with our community
• Strong business acumen with a track record of delivering results and managing costs while keeping the customer experience front and centre
• You have strong visual merchandising capability with a solid understanding of VM principles and how to bring campaigns and product stories to life in store
• A coach and motivator who develops talent, builds capability and inspires high performance across your team
• A strategic and entrepreneurial thinker who sees the bigger picture and is excited by the opportunity to influence a growing retail brand
• Capability to lift and carry boxes or bins weighing up to 20 lbs
• Hands on, resilient and full of energy, you thrive in fast paced environments and lead from the front

Compensation Range

• $110,000-$120,000
