Senior Account Manager (Contract)

THE ROLE


You are not just managing clients. You are growing their business and guiding the work.


As our Senior Account Manager (Contract), you are the senior point of contact for our most critical brand partners. You will own the health, profitability, and strategic direction of your accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to CMOs and brand founders. You are the bridge between the client's business objectives and the agency's creative output, ensuring that we sell in bold ideas, navigate complex stakeholder feedback, and consistently grow our footprint within the client's organization.


This is a fixed-term contract role running from April 2026 through the end of June 2026.


Prospekt is based in Toronto. This role is fully remote (North America only). We care about output, collaboration, and craft no matter where you are located.


WHAT YOU WILL DO


Client Leadership and Relationship Growth

•⁠  ⁠Act as the primary strategic partner and escalation point for tier-one clients, building deep, resilient relationships with senior stakeholders.

•⁠  Understand the client’s business model, revenue goals, and internal politics better than they do, using that knowledge to proactively pitch new solutions.

•⁠  Transform transactional project work into long-term, high-value agency retainers.


Strategic Account Planning

•⁠  ⁠Partner with the Strategy and Creative teams to ensure every campaign, pitch, and deliverable maps perfectly back to the client’s overarching business objectives.

•⁠  ⁠Guide the narrative during major client presentations, selling in ambitious, culture-forward work with confidence.


Financial and Commercial Ownership

•⁠  ⁠Own the P&L for your portfolio of accounts, ensuring hitting or exceeding revenue and margin targets.

•⁠  ⁠Draft, negotiate, and finalize complex Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and project scopes alongside the production team.

•⁠  ⁠Monitor account burn rates and resource allocation, stepping in to pivot strategies before a project becomes unprofitable.


Cross-Functional Leadership and Protection

•⁠  ⁠Protect the creative. You know how to push back on client feedback gracefully and defend the agency’s strategic recommendations.

•⁠  ⁠Mentor and oversee Account Managers, guiding them on day-to-day client communication and upskilling their commercial instincts.

•⁠  ⁠Partner seamlessly with Production and Project Management to ensure timelines and budgets are respected by the client.

WHAT YOU BRING


•⁠  6–8+ years of account management or client services experience within a creative, experiential, or brand marketing agency.

•⁠  Brand marketing agency and/or experiential agency experience is required.

•⁠  Ability to work EST hours is required.

•⁠  A proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar portfolios and consistently growing account revenue year-over-year.

•⁠  Experience managing senior-level client relationships (VP, CMO, Founder level).

•⁠  Deep fluency in digital ecosystems, integrated campaigns, and modern brand design.

•⁠  Experience working with brands in sports, entertainment, tech, or lifestyle is highly preferred.

•⁠  Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills.
