About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator Trainee to join our team. In this entry-level position, you will receive hands-on training to operate various machines and support production processes while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

What you'll do

• Assist in the operation of machinery in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor machine operations and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Participate in training sessions to learn about equipment, safety protocols, and production techniques.
• Help perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Document production activities and complete necessary paperwork accurately.

Physical Requirement

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capacity to lift and move heavy objects (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]) safely.
• Manual dexterity and coordination for operating machinery.
• Vision and hearing abilities adequate to monitor equipment and ensure safety.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced manufacturing facility with a focus on safety and teamwork.
• Exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required.
• Shift work may be required, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and machinery operation (preferred).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus but not required.
