About This Role

Care Team Manager (RN) exists to lead and support Medical Assistants while providing clinical guidance to ensure care is delivered efficiently, accurately, and with compassion. This role serves as a critical bridge between clinical care and operations—helping teams deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for every member.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of Medical Assistants, providing real-time support, coaching, and clinical guidance
  • Partner closely with providers and care teams to ensure coordinated, efficient, and patient-centered care
  • Support clinical decision-making and help guide teams through more complex or sensitive situations
  • Improve how care is delivered by identifying gaps, removing friction, and optimizing workflows
  • Directly impact member experience by ensuring care is timely, accurate, and easy to navigate

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop Medical Assistants through hiring, training, coaching, and ongoing support
  • Coordinate care by partnering with providers, case managers, and care teams to ensure a seamless member experience
  • Optimize operations by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions
  • Standardize workflows, SOPs, and documentation practices to improve consistency and quality
  • Support escalations by stepping in on complex or sensitive cases requiring leadership oversight
  • Drive accountability by monitoring performance metrics and ensuring consistent team output
  • Collaborate with Claims, Care Logistics, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • 3+ years of clinical experience (care coordination, triage, case management, or similar preferred)
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to guide care decisions
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and lead teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a remote, tech-enabled environment
  • A people-first mindset with a passion for helping others
