About the role
Under the direction of Clinical Leadership, the Operating Room (OR) RN has responsibility for the delivery of patient care that promotes safety and well-being of all patients and staff in the intraoperative areas. Monitor patient care to assess the progress of the operating room process. May function in the surgical technician role as needed, including instrument handling, maintaining the sterile field, performing surgical counts, and case set/turnover. Maintain open communication with all staff to promote improvement in performance and quality care.
