contractors in multiple states. We are looking for a skilled Event Admin with Dance and customer service experience to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of an event weekend.

What You’ll Do

Join the Revel Dance Convention’s Onsite Event Team on the Reflection Tour 

Reporting to Revel’s Event Managers, the Event Admin will assist with the running of all aspects of the onsite Convention and Competition. The ideal candidate will have experience in the dance industry and be familiar with the competition/convention setting as well as customer service experience as it is a client facing role. As a member of a small and collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to partner with senior leaders and develop your own skills and grow your career. 🛠 Key Responsibilities:

Convention

• Assist with Load-in and Load-out of Front of House Event Elements (Breakout room banners, lobby banners, registration table, Rolling the Marley, Moving Trunks, etc.)
• Monitor Convention Classes for Observers and keeping classes running smoothly
• Assist with Audition Classes and Scholarship Prep
• Work the Registration Desk and interact with Studio Owners and Parents answering questions
• Manage Closing Showcase and Scholarship Ceremony
• Setting up, styling and working the merchandise table; selling items on handheld device and tearing down merchandise table at the end of the weekend 
• Taking weekly inventory of onsite supplies (registration items, awards, merchandise, etc.)

Competition

• Checking admission, or RevPass Tickets, at the door during competition sessions
• Manage Backstage and the flow of the competition, coordinating with the Tabulator and Emcee 
• Prep Awards backstage and assist handing out awards onstage during award ceremonies
• Collecting Dancers from the dressing room and bringing them backstage in addition to overseeing the Dressing Rooms to ensure everything is smooth/civil
  
  

✈️ Travel and Availability 

• Traveling Thursday-Sunday in most cases (pending Flight/Airport availability).

🫱🏻‍🫲🏾 Qualifications & Competencies

• Comfortable with technology and using computers, iPads, etc. 
• Dance/Performance Industry Experience or Background preferred but not required
• Being comfortable on a microphone is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 30 lbs / move large rolling trunks
• High Energy, Initiative, Hard Working, Personable, Proactive, Great Customer Service skills 
• Comfortable working long hours

• Retail and Customer Service experience strongly preferred

💵 Compensation Range:

Compensation is competitive and aligned with experience, expertise and scope of responsibility. Compensation starts at $25.00/ hour.
