About the role

RevHealth is seeking a Senior Vice President of Client Services with deep Market Access expertise to lead, strengthen, and grow a portfolio of pharmaceutical and healthcare clients while advancing the agency’s Market Access practice. The SVP will serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients and the internal business leader for assigned accounts—setting the vision, translating client needs into clear direction, mobilizing cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, and identifying opportunities to expand the partnership. The ideal candidate understands how payer, health system, provider, reimbursement, patient access, and commercialization dynamics shape brand strategy and performance. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring active involvement in the work, strong team leadership, sound decision-making, and ownership of client satisfaction, talent development, revenue, profitability, and measurable business results.

What you'll do

Client and Business Leadership

  • Serve as the senior client partner and internal business lead across assigned Market Access accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across Market Access, marketing, trade, patient services, reimbursement, HEOR, medical, and commercial functions.
  • Establish a clear vision and strategic direction for each account, ensuring that client objectives, agency recommendations, team priorities, and commercial goals remain aligned.
  • Translate client input and feedback into clear, actionable direction for internal teams, including priorities, owners, timelines, decisions, and expected outcomes.
  • Anticipate client needs, identify risks early, and proactively bring forward recommendations and solutions.
  • Lead senior client meetings, strategic workshops, annual planning sessions, business reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and take timely action to strengthen relationships, address concerns, and protect the business.

Market Access Strategy and Expertise

  • Provide senior strategic counsel across the Market Access landscape, including payers, PBMs, IDNs, health systems, specialty pharmacies, trade partners, reimbursement stakeholders, patient support organizations, and field-based access teams.
  • Understand how clinical evidence, economic value, coverage, reimbursement, affordability, patient support, and healthcare delivery dynamics affect brand performance.
  • Guide the development of Market Access strategies that connect brand objectives with the needs of access decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Bring a current and informed point of view on Market Access trends, customer needs, policy developments, emerging business models, and commercialization challenges.

Cross-Functional Team Leadership

  • Serve as the internal leader for assigned accounts, setting the vision, defining priorities, and creating alignment across disciplines.
  • Ensure every team member understands the client’s business challenge, the strategic objective, their role in solving it, and the outcome they are responsible for delivering.
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional leaders and involve the right capabilities at the right time.
  • Create productive operating rhythms that keep teams informed, connected, accountable, and focused on the highest-priority business needs.
  • Identify and resolve resource challenges, conflicting priorities, capability gaps, and internal barriers before they affect delivery or client confidence.

Business Growth and Practice Development

  • Own the growth strategy for assigned accounts and develop clear plans to deepen and expand client relationships.
  • Identify and convert organic growth opportunities by maintaining a holistic understanding of each client’s portfolio, pipeline, organizational priorities, and unmet needs.
  • Convert strong delivery, strategic value, and client trust into broader and more sustainable partnerships.
  • Lead or contribute to new business opportunities, including RFP responses, strategic recommendations, capabilities presentations, pitch development, and finalist presentations.
  • Represent RevHealth as a credible Market Access leader in client, prospect, and industry settings.

Financial and Operational Leadership

  • Assume full ownership of the financial health and performance of assigned accounts.
  • Partner with Finance, Project Management, and agency leadership to develop accurate scopes, staffing plans, budgets, forecasts, and revenue projections.
  • Ensure scopes of work clearly define deliverables, assumptions, timelines, roles, client responsibilities, and out-of-scope parameters.
  • Identify financial and operational risks early and communicate them clearly to internal leaders and clients.
  • Create discipline around monthly forecasting, budget reconciliation, resource planning, and scope management.

People Leadership and Talent Development

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing Client Services team across multiple levels.
  • Inspire teams around a shared vision for the client business and create a sense of collective ownership for account success.
  • Set clear expectations for performance, communication, collaboration, accountability, decision-making, and professional conduct.
  • Coach team members on strategic thinking, client leadership, financial management, communication, delegation, judgment, and business acumen.
  • Ensure Client Services team members are not simply managing timelines and deliverables, but actively leading the business and connecting the work to broader client objectives.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare agency, consulting, or a related industry.
  • Significant experience leading Market Access accounts, engagements, brands, or commercialization initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, coverage, reimbursement, formulary decision-making, patient access, and healthcare delivery dynamics.
  • Experience leading large, complex, and financially significant client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, influence across functions and levels, align differing perspectives, and move teams from discussion to decision and action.
  • Strong financial and operational management skills, including scoping, forecasting, staffing, profitability management, and contract oversight.
  • Experience working within pharmaceutical regulatory and medical/legal review environments.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, writing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, organizational change, and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, including coaching, delegation, feedback, performance management, and talent development.
