Consider elevating your career in the land of living skies! Rise Air is on the lookout for a skilled, passionate Chief Pilot (703/704) to join our team in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, serving the north.


Reporting to the Director, Flight Operations, the Chief Pilot (703/704) provides leadership, oversight and operational direction to pilots within our 703 and 704 operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational standards, supporting regulatory compliance, overseeing pilot training and development, and ensuring flight crews are qualified and operationally ready.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and support pilots across our 703 and 704 operations.
  • Oversee operational standards, regulatory compliance and flight crew procedures.
  • Provide oversight of pilot training, qualifications, development and operational readiness.
  • Support pilot recruitment, staffing, scheduling and operational planning.
  • Provide coaching and address pilot performance and operational matters as required.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and actively support our Safety Management System.
  • Maintain flying currency and fly the line as operationally required.

What We`re Looking For:

  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence – Aeroplane (ATPL-A).
  • Current PPC on a CAR 704 aeroplane.
  • Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time, including 2,000 hours multi-engine PIC and 1,000 hours turbine.
  • Minimum three years' experience as PIC on CAR 703/704 aircraft.
  • Ability to qualify as PIC on one of the aircraft types operated by Rise Air.
  • Ability to meet applicable Transport Canada requirements for the Chief Pilot role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, decision-making and people-management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
