Dispatcher –

Position Overview

RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and client-focused Dispatcher to join our growing operations team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and can effectively coordinate daily transportation operations to ensure exceptional service for our clients.

This position requires a flexible schedule, including mandatory weekend availability. Candidates must be willing to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily chauffeur, shuttle, and motor coach operations to ensure timely and efficient transportation services.
• Assign and dispatch chauffeurs and operators based on reservations, schedules, vehicle availability, and client requirements.
• Monitor vehicle locations, trip progress, and driver availability using dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Communicate effectively with chauffeurs, clients, and internal operations teams regarding schedules, trip updates, and service changes.
• Respond promptly and professionally to last-minute schedule changes, delays, cancellations, and unexpected operational challenges.
• Provide exceptional customer service while resolving transportation-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, trip details, and daily operational reports.
• Collaborate with management to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence.
• Ensure chauffeurs and operators follow company policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
• Assist with emergency situations and coordinate appropriate responses when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching experience preferred, ideally within the transportation, limousine, shuttle, motor coach, or logistics industry.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency with computers, scheduling software, and GPS tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Schedule & Availability Requirements

Flexible scheduling and weekend availability are essential requirements of this position.

• Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays, as scheduled.
• Must have flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and holidays depending on business needs.
• Must be willing to adjust schedules to accommodate operational demands.
• Must be reliable and available for assigned shifts in a transportation operation that runs seven days a week.
• Additional hours may be required during peak periods, special events, and high-volume transportation operations.
