As our Speaker & Sales Representative, you'll represent selfpublishing.com on stage at 6 to 20 live events per year, sharing our mission and enrolling new authors. Speaking will make up 20% to 50% of your role. The rest of your time, you'll drive sales for us as an SDR, business development rep, or sales rep, depending on your skillset.

🎤 Speaker & Sales Representative
Location: Austin, TX (In Office, Full Time)

💪 What You'll Do:

• Speak and sell at live events: Travel to 6 to 20 events per year, pitch our mission and services from stage, and enroll new authors on the spot.
• Own the room: Deliver high energy, inspiring presentations that move audiences to action.
• Drive sales between events: Depending on your strengths, book strategy sessions as an SDR, build partnerships as a business development rep, or close deals as a sales rep.
• Serve every prospect: Understand each aspiring author's goals and obstacles, and recommend the right selfpublishing.com program for them.
• Track your results: Use our CRM and proven sales systems to measure and improve your performance.
• Collaborate: Work alongside a hungry, mission driven sales and marketing team.

🧰 What You Bring:

Required:

• Experience speaking or presenting at live events
• 3+ years of top performing sales experience
• Experience in sales and meeting quota.
• Strong CRM and sales process proficiency
• Willingness to travel 6 to 20 times per year
• Living within 30 minutes of Westlake, Austin
  
  

Bonus Points If You Have:

• 5+ years of high performance sales experience
• $1M+ in total lifetime sales
• Experience with high volume, low ticket sales ($5K or less, short sales cycles)
• Experience as a paid or featured speaker at conferences or events

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• On target earnings: $80,000 to $150,000+ annually
• Base pay: $35,000 to $50,000, plus incentive compensation
• Proven pay structure: Same compensation model as our sales team, so your earnings grow directly with your results

🏢 Location & Hours:
This is a full time, in office role (45+ hours a week) based at our Austin, TX headquarters, with travel to 6 to 20 events per year.
