B2B Account Manager

About Selkirk Sport

Selkirk Sport started in North Idaho with a simple idea: make the best pickleball gear in the world. Today we’re one of the most recognized names in the game, selling direct to players, through wholesale and major retail, and internationally.

We’re now building something bigger than a paddle company: a pickleball-centric ecosystem of brands, products and experiences. In 2026 we acquired Bread & Butter Pickleball Company, and we’re continuing to grow through new channels, new countries and future acquisitions. For our wholesale team, that means more partners, more products to offer and more room to grow.

Pickleball has been America’s fastest-growing sport for five straight years, with more than 24 million players in 2025.

It all comes back to our mission: to fuel the pickleball obsession found inside every player.

About the role

Selkirk Sport is hiring an Account Manager to help bring the game to more players, one club, retailer and coach at a time.

You’ll take care of the accounts we already have, open new ones in your territory, and make sure every partner has the gear they need to grow the sport in their community.

Reporting to our Wholesale Director, you’ll work on-site at our Coeur d’Alene HQ alongside our Wholesale, Marketing and Operations teams.

If you have solid B2B sales experience, love building relationships, and want to grow both your accounts and your territory, we’d like to meet you. Bring your sales skills, and we’ll teach you the game. We think you’ll love it as much as our customers do.

What you’ll get to do

  • Your accounts. Manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale accounts across paddles, balls, nets, shoes and more. You’ll be the main point of contact for sales questions and account issues.
  • New business. Prospect within an assigned territory and guide new accounts from first outreach through opening order.
  • Bigger orders, better placement. Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities, present our products, programs and promotions, and negotiate terms with sound judgment.
  • Life on the courts. Help dealers, clubs and coaches understand and merchandise our gear, and coordinate demo days and events that put paddles in players’ hands.
  • Data that guides your day. Keep CRM records, activity and pipeline accurate, and use sales data to decide where to focus your outreach.
  • A real team effort. Work with Marketing on account-level campaigns, with Operations on orders, inventory and shipping, and share what you’re hearing from the market with our Product and Marketing teams.

Who you are

You’ll fit right in if you have:

  • Typically 3–5 years in account management, inside sales, wholesale sales or a related B2B sales role
  • A track record of managing existing accounts while bringing in new business
  • Confidence leading sales conversations by phone and video
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building and communication skills
  • The motivation to work independently without heavy oversight
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through, even across many accounts and deadlines
  • Experience with CRM platforms and standard business software
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
  • A curiosity about pickleball and a willingness to learn the game, on and off the court

Bonus points for:

  • Sporting goods or consumer product distribution experience
  • A background supporting specialty retail, clubs or coaching organizations
  • Knowledge of pickleball or the sports retail industry

Where you’ll work

This is an on-site role at our HQ in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT. (Yes, your weekend starts at noon on Friday.)

Expect occasional travel for events, demo days and partner site visits.

Our investment in you

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance, starting the first of the month after your start date
  • 401(k) or Roth with a company match: 100% of the first 2% and 50% of the next 3%
  • Up to 3 weeks of paid time off per year, accrued each pay period, plus paid company holidays
  • Paid sick leave of at least 3 days per year, more where state law requires
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave
  • Company-paid life and AD&D insurance, with options to buy more
  • Telemedicine for you and your household at no cost
  • A confidential Employee Assistance Program for counseling, legal and financial support
  • Additional voluntary benefits plans
  • 75% off Selkirk gear, plus up to 60% off leading outdoor, fitness and nutrition brands through ExpertVoice
