The Role
Skyrock Capital is seeking a Real Estate Investment Analyst to support its commercial real estate finance platform. This role is well-suited for a graduating senior or recent graduate (0–3 years of experience) seeking hands-on exposure to commercial real estate underwriting, market analysis, and capital markets execution. Analysts work closely with senior investment professionals and contribute directly to live transactions. This is a front-line analytical role, not a back-office position, with meaningful responsibility from day one.
This is an in-office position based in Dallas, Texas; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
Key Responsibilities
Underwriting & Financial Analysis
- Underwrite commercial real estate financing transactions across multiple asset types
- Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow, debt service, and return analysis
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate risk and performance
Market & Data Analysis
- Research market conditions, rent and sales comparables, and operating benchmarks
- Collect, analyze, and maintain property-, borrower-, and market-level data
Deal Execution & Asset Support
- Assist in preparing investment memoranda and loan application packages
- Support financing, acquisition, repositioning, and disposition activities
- Participate in asset performance monitoring and site visits as needed
Business & Platform Support
- Support new business initiatives and firm-wide projects
- Provide analytical and operational support to senior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.3 or higher (3.5+ preferred)
- 0–3 years of relevant experience (internships and entry-level roles acceptable)
- Strong Excel skills and interest in financial modeling
- Understanding of core CRE concepts, including NOI, cap rates, DSCR, IRR, and LTV
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
