A Day in the Life:

• Design, build, and enhance scalable applications and services using Elixir and its ecosystem.
• Apply advanced Elixir knowledge to solve complex technical challenges, improve application performance, and maintain high-quality code.
• Use Claude throughout the development lifecycle to accelerate delivery, support troubleshooting, improve code quality, and streamline everyday engineering tasks.
• Develop and support cloud-based solutions within AWS environments, following established security, reliability, and scalability practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and technical planning while helping establish development best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application behavior across distributed systems, using tools such as Datadog when applicable.
• Work with technologies such as Kafka and PostgreSQL to support event-driven workflows, data processing, and reliable application integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, observability, automation, and overall platform stability.
• Actively use AI tools, including Claude through our Anthropic partnership, to streamline tasks, improve the quality of your work, and share best practices with teammates while continuously seeking new ways to integrate AI into your everyday workflows.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance daily work, or a strong desire to do so, including a willingness to experiment, learn, and champion AI adoption within your role
