Fabrication Supervisor

Stark Carpet is seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to lead our fabrication team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can motivate employees, solve problems quickly, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily fabrication production to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team while fostering accountability, teamwork, and ownership.
  • Monitor workflow and staffing levels to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production, quality, and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Partner with Quality, Inventory, Maintenance, Shipping, and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Train employees on equipment, processes, safety procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct performance coaching, provide ongoing feedback, and support employee evaluations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Promote a positive team culture built on communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Previous experience supervising or leading teams of 20 or more employees.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of production scheduling, quality systems, and employee development.
  • Proficient with basic computer applications and production reporting.
  • Experience using ERP or other manufacturing software preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and around industrial equipment.
