Senior Commercial Operations Specialist

Responsibilities:


The Sr. Commercial Operations Specialist is a key member of a collaborative team, ensuring consistency of systems, data and reporting while developing insights that will drive commercial strategy and decision making. This cross functional role will be a key partner to the commercial team, including sales, marketing, product management and customer success, as well as finance, logistics, scientific operations and the executive leadership team. This position offers the opportunity to join a fast-growing company in the emerging field of spatial biology, with strong potential for impact and career growth.


  • CRM build out for current needs with an eye on long term scalability.
  • Assessment and ownership of the broader commercial tech stack.
  • Responsibility for data integrity across platforms, setting best practices & driving compliance.
  • Manage the quote to cash process by processing incoming orders while setting up systems for scalability with the customer at front of mind facilitate and ensure revenue reconciliation in partnership with finance.
  • Work with Manufacturing to develop long term build schedule based on a data informed forecast for instruments & consumables.
  • Partner with Scientific Operations to prioritize existing & incoming customer projects, ensure we are billing at the appropriate time by working with finance.
  • Develop short & long term process for customer satisfaction survey’s, both tNPS and rNPS.
  • Development & execution of impactful analytics & reporting to deliver insights, identify process gaps early & facilitate mitigation planning across the full commercial cycle from early lead generation through revenue.
  • Facilitate documentation and submissions of Tenders & Grants.


Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Business, Finance, Statistics or related field.
  • 3+ years supporting Commercial teams in analytics / operations, ideally in the Biotech Tools space.
  • Experience with HubSpot, NetSuite and related reporting tools.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on insights and outcomes.
  • Comfortable working with individuals at varying skill levels and backgrounds adapting communication style and content as needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task to execute effectively and meet deadlines while focusing on team success.
  • Flourishes in a highly dynamic and small company environment.


Compensation:

An attractive compensation and benefits package based on market pay data will be commensurate with candidate skills, qualifications, and experience.
