Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to close of deal, across your Atlantic Canada territory.
  • Understand client needs and present tailored solutions, effectively demonstrating the value of our insurance products and services.

  • Continuously expand your knowledge of our offerings and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Keep organized records and track progress toward business goals and quotas using Salesforce.
  • Leverage Excel, Salesforce, and Salesloft to streamline your sales activities, track progress, and optimize your performance.
  • Engage in strategic planning with your manager to continually fine-tune your territory approach to improve sales results on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Receive leads from a variety of sources (BDRs, Marketing, Partnerships), while also generating new business opportunities independently across the region.
  • Collaborate with our internal GRS team to support client requirements for financial planning services and/or retirement/investment plans as part of their Group Benefits solution.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Licensed insurance advisor — LLQP (Life, Accident and Sickness License) and E&O Coverage in force and in good standing in your home province (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, or Newfoundland and Labrador).
  • Nice to have: Licensed in additional Atlantic provinces, or willing to become licensed in other provinces in the region as your territory grows.
  • Nice to have but not required: Segregated funds experience, CFP, CLU, CEBS designations, or other relevant credentials.
  • Please note: It is our company policy, and an insurance regulation, that you be licensed in the province where the customer's business is headquartered in order to earn commission income on that business.
