Corporate Recruiter

About the role

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts across Southwest Accessory Group, with a primary focus on attracting, hiring, and onboarding top talent for warehouse, distribution, operations, sales, and corporate positions. This position partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience while supporting the Company's growth and workforce planning initiatives.


What you'll do

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition through onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Source qualified candidates using job boards, social media, employee referrals, community partnerships, career fairs, and networking.
  • Create compelling job advertisements that accurately reflect job requirements and company culture.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Extend employment offers and coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug testing, and new hire paperwork.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with staffing agencies, technical schools, workforce development organizations, military recruiting programs, and community partners.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, applicant flow, offer acceptance, turnover, and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Maintain applicant tracking records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist with employer branding initiatives, social media recruiting, and community outreach.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives for all distribution centers.
  • Participate in hiring events, job fairs, and recruiting campaigns.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience that reflects Southwest Accessory Group's culture and values.
  • Assist with special HR projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting for warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or operations environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to travel periodically to distribution centers, hiring events, and community recruiting activities.

Work Environment

This position is based in a professional office environment with regular travel to warehouse and distribution facilities. The Recruiter will interact with employees at all organizational levels and may occasionally work in warehouse environments while observing all required safety procedures.
