Position Summary

Swingtech Consulting is seeking a Senior Operations and Process Improvement Advisor to provide expert-level support to a large federal professional services program. The selected candidate will analyze complex operational and organizational challenges, recommend efficiencies, support mission execution, and prepare or review substantive technical and management documentation.

The position requires demonstrated expertise in a relevant functional area, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to translate complex issues into clear and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance within the candidate’s assigned area of expertise.
  • Analyze complex operational, technical, management, or organizational problems.
  • Recommend and support implementation of efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Support federal mission requirements and organizational compliance.
  • Identify operational risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop practical solutions to improve service delivery and organizational effectiveness.
  • Prepare and review substantive and complex technical or management documentation.
  • Brief program leadership and federal stakeholders on findings, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement and effective program decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the applicable subject-matter area.
  • Master’s degree in a related field or 12 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with: 
    • Complex problem solving
    • Operational improvement
    • Federal mission or program support
    • Organizational compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare or review substantive and complex technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, technical-writing, stakeholder-engagement, and briefing skills.
