Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Project Manager to support DHS/FPS facility operations, maintenance, repair, and project activities.

The O&M Project Manager will coordinate facility-related requirements, oversee project execution, monitor contractor performance, and support the Government in maintaining safe, functional, and effective facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage facility operations, maintenance, repair, and improvement projects.
  • Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Monitor contractor performance, schedules, deliverables, and quality.
  • Support facility inspections and identification of maintenance or repair requirements.
  • Coordinate building systems, infrastructure, repairs, and facility improvement activities.
  • Develop project schedules, cost estimates, status reports, and performance metrics.
  • Identify facility risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with FPS personnel, facility managers, contractors, vendors, and Government stakeholders.
  • Support renovation, reconfiguration, build-out, and facility improvement projects.
  • Review technical documentation and contractor deliverables.
  • Support project closeout, documentation, and acceptance activities.
  • Provide recommendations regarding facility condition, maintenance priorities, and project execution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active PMP certification — mandatory.
  • Active FAC-P/PM Level II within the last five years, or equivalent — mandatory.
  • Experience with facilities operations, maintenance, construction, renovation, repair, or facility project management.
  • Strong contractor management, scheduling, cost, risk, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Northern Virginia — Springfield, VA / Alexandria, VA.
