This is a full time, hourly, year round opportunity with a high level of skill expectation.

About the Role:
As a Maintenance & Safety Team Member (Construction Focus), you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the campground through skilled, hands-on work. This role is designed for someone with a strong construction background who is comfortable operating heavy equipment and taking on more advanced projects. You’ll work closely with the Maintenance Team Lead and General Manager, while also being trusted to complete work independently, safely, and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general construction work across the property
- Operate heavy equipment (such as skid steers or similar) to support site work and projects
- Support property improvement projects, including infrastructure repairs and build-outs
- Maintain and repair campground buildings, facilities, and equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards
- Identify and address maintenance issues proactively
- Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong background in construction is required
- A passion for outdoor hospitality and hands-on problem-solving
- Experience operating heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Demonstrated ability to complete projects and repairs with minimal supervision
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively with leadership
- A “jack of all trades” mindset with the ability to shift between tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid Driver’s License
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Bonus Points:
- Experience in campground, hospitality, or outdoor property maintenance and construction.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance frequently with long periods of standing.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb and move safely over wet or rocky terrain.
- Ability to operate various loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipment.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors and in various weather conditions.
