About the role

We're looking for a customer-obsessed Senior Marketing Manager to build and scale one of ThoughtSpot's growth engines, our customer advocacy. You will build customer proof: turning customer outcomes into stories, references, reviews, speakers, and insights that strengthen our market leadership, accelerate adoption, and help customers learn from one another.


You will own ThoughtSpot's customer advocacy strategy, partnering with core internal stakeholders, partners, and customers to capture meaningful outcomes and activate those voices at every stage of the customer journey.


What you’ll do

Build and scale the advocacy program

Own the global strategy for customer stories, references, speakers, peer reviews, customer insights, and advocacy engagement.

Develop programs to identify, recruit, nurture, and activate customer champions around the world.

Build lasting relationships with customer champions and executive stakeholders, creating a community of advocates eager to share their experiences and support ThoughtSpot's growth.


Create customer proof that drives growth

Build a global pipeline of customer stories, proof points, testimonials, and success stories aligned to our most important revenue priorities.

Partner with regional field marketing to scale this framework and workflow across geographies.

Work with Demand Generation, PR, Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Community, and Sales to ensure customer proof supports key business priorities.

Bring customer voices into campaigns, events, analyst engagements, media opportunities, and sales motions.


Strengthen ThoughtSpot's market credibility

Own global peer review programs across Gartner Peer Insights and G2.

Support customer participation in analyst evaluations, executive engagements, speaking opportunities, awards, and strategic reference activities.


Work in an AI-first way

Develop and nurture AI-powered and agentic workflows that help employees discover customer insights, identify advocates, surface proof points, and fulfill advocacy requests more efficiently.


Measure what matters

Measure and report advocacy impact across program participation, content creation, reviews, and business influence.


What you Bring

  • 6+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years specializing in customer advocacy or customer marketing.
  • Proven experience building or scaling customer advocacy and storytelling programs, including customer stories, references, reviews, speakers, or executive advocacy initiatives.
  • Passion for AI-first ways of working, with experience using AI tools and agentic workflows to boost productivity, uncover insights, streamline operations, and scale customer engagement programs.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience working across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and program management skills.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills, both internally and with external customers and partners.

Spotters are expected in-office 3+ days per week to be part of the energy of their local team. Mandatory and Required Skills for All ThoughtSpot Roles

Spotters are expected to demonstrate AI literacy and workflow integration to include to ability to:

  • Comfortably and confidently integrate artificial intelligence into their daily workflow to increase productivity and quality.
  • Hands-on experience to leverage AI tools (industry-leading LLMs) to increase productivity, automate routine tasks, and improve work quality.
  • Speak to the experience of using AI for research, content creation, and document summarization while maintaining ownership of judgment and final decisions.
  • Write effective prompts to get the most accurate and creative results from AI tools.


Spotters are expected to exemplify these key traits and AI Mindset:

  • Curiosity in exploring new AI tools
  • Adaptability to quickly learn and implement new, emerging AI technologies
  • Critical thinking to know when to identify when AI should be used versus when human judgement is necessary
