Ready to help lead the fun at Slick City Action Park? As Assistant Manager, you’ll work alongside the management team to keep the energy high and the thrills rolling in our world-class indoor slide and action sports park. This hands-on leadership role is all about supervising an awesome team, enforcing top-tier safety and service standards, and creating unforgettable --OMG experiences for every guest.

You’ll drive revenue through outstanding service, killer party and event execution, and flawless daily operations — all while building a positive, high-energy team culture where everyone grows.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operational Support • Jump in and help run smooth daily operations — from opening and closing the park to delivering seamless guest service and flawless shift execution.
  2. Servant Leadership • Lead by example on the floor! Motivate and support your team, deliver on-the-spot training, guidance, and positive feedback to keep the vibe energetic and productive.
  3. Guest Experience • Make sure every guest walks away smiling — safe, clean, and totally thrilled. Handle concerns quickly and professionally with a can-do attitude.
  4. Staffing & Scheduling • Team up with the GM on hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling. Keep timekeeping, attendance, and shift coverage on point.
  5. Inventory & Cash Handling • Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and maintain accurate, efficient cash-handling procedures while upholding company standards.
  6. Safety & Events • Champion safety protocols and compliance. Help coordinate unforgettable birthday parties, group events, and special activities that guests will rave about.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience (entertainment, hospitality, retail, food service, or recreation preferred)
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating memorable experiences
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

  • Safety & Compliance – Enforces safety protocols and food safety guidelines, ensuring team members follow all rules and regulations.
  • Communication – Communicates clearly and professionally with guests, team members, and leadership to maintain alignment and smooth daily operations.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and remain active on your feet for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per shift)
  • Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, and stretch while supervising attractions and assisting guests
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (restocking supplies, moving equipment, party/event setups)
  • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations, including moving rapidly across attractions
  • Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment with flashing lights and high guest activity
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members in a noisy environment

Work Schedule
This is an hourly position that requires a flexible schedule. You may be scheduled for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on park needs. Consistent weekend availability is required to support operations and events.
