Sales Account Executive: Data & Snowflake Services

At Trifecta, we are more than just a technology company. We are a community of innovators, collaborators, and problem solvers dedicated to driving positive change in the world of technology. We are a dynamic organization that embraces diversity, fosters inclusion, and values the unique contributions of each of our Teammates. At Trifecta you will find a supportive and inclusive culture, endless opportunities for growth and development, and a vibrant community of passionate professionals dedicated to shaping the future.

We've been building and integrating enterprise systems for over 30 years. We're a Select Snowflake Partner with delivery practices across Snowflake, Salesforce, Salsify, AI, and custom development. Our consultants ship real work — that's what you'll be selling.

About The Role

As a Sales Account Executive, you'll own new business for our Snowflake and data services practice. You'll build pipeline, run complex sales cycles, and turn prospects into long-term clients.

Your best target list is companies that already own Snowflake. Budget is committed, and plenty of them stalled after the first migration — idle workloads, cost overruns, governance gaps, AI plans with no data foundation underneath. Your job is to find them, understand where they got stuck, and sell the work that unsticks them.

This role is for someone who generates their own pipeline, gets comfortable fast with technical buyers, and would rather scope a deal honestly than oversell it. As well someone who wants to continue to leverage their Snowflake experience.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect into the Snowflake install base. Find companies running Snowflake that aren't getting value from it. Outbound, referrals, Snowflake introductions — whatever gets you in the room. Qualify hard on where they're actually stuck.
  • Get wired into Snowflake's field org. Not just the AE. Their Customer Success teams see which accounts flatlined on consumption and are measured on fixing it — that's the same problem you're solving, so bring them a path. Same with their SEs, PS org, and partner managers. Know their quarter, know how they're paid, and make them look good.
  • Build your own top of funnel. Partner referrals are leverage, not a plan. You're expected to generate pipeline through disciplined outbound into target accounts.
  • Run full sales cycles. Discovery through negotiation and close. Multi-thread across the client's data, IT, and business leadership — and across Snowflake's team at the same time.
  • Scope honestly. You'll work directly with our delivery leads to size engagements. We'd rather lose a deal than sell something we can't deliver well. Our references are the reason we win the next one.
  • Sell consumption, not just projects. Frame engagements around the workloads they unlock and the platform spend they drive. That's how Snowflake evaluates partners, and how you get fed more deals.
  • Hit your number. Meet or exceed quota, keep the CRM current, and tell us what you're hearing in the market.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales with a real outbound track record — self-sourced pipeline, not just closing marketing leads.
  • Proven experience selling professional services on data and/or analytics projects. Scoped engagements, not software licenses.
  • Experience selling to C-level and VP buyers across both IT and the business.
  • Working knowledge of the modern data stack. You don't need to write SQL, but you should hold your own on warehouse compute and cost, migrations off legacy platforms (Redshift, Teradata, on-prem EDW), and where data projects go sideways.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of how professional services engagements are sold and delivered.
  • Ability to articulate a POV and value add of Snowflake and other data related services.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and running a disciplined pipeline.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships inside Snowflake's field organization — AE, SE, Customer Success, Professional Services, or partner team.
  • Snowflake certifications, or experience with Snowpark, Cortex, or AI/ML workloads.
  • Background at a systems integrator or consultancy.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, CPG, or retail data environments.
  • Certifications in a recognized sales methodology.
