Uncommon Goods

Seasonal Warehouse Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Seasonal Warehouse Operations Coordinator plays an important role in keeping our warehouse operations organized, responsive, and running smoothly, especially during our busiest time of year.

In this role, you’ll support the Operations team's day-to-day needs through reporting, scheduling, payroll coordination, vendor communication, and administrative support. You’ll work closely with warehouse leaders and team members, as well as partners across Uncommon Goods, to solve problems, keep information accurate, and adjust quickly as business needs change.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with both people and data, notices the details, and likes figuring out how to make things work better. Our warehouse moves quickly, particularly during the holiday season, so flexibility, organization, and a calm approach to changing priorities are important.

What you'll do

  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on attendance, staffing, labor costs, quality, and other operational metrics.
  • Maintain team member schedules and coordinate staffing and role changes based on daily warehouse needs.
  • Review and reconcile timecards to support accurate payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with vendors on supply orders, replenishment needs, and shipment status.
  • Help respond to and resolve team member questions, facilities requests, and other day-to-day operational needs.
  • Support the Operations team's administrative needs, including meeting notes, team lunches, and other team activities.
  • Support operations for our Grand Central Terminal retail store, including coordinating inventory replenishment as needed.
  • Create quality-control reports and presentations that help leaders identify trends and communicate with their teams.
  • Build positive, collaborative relationships with warehouse team members, leaders, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Jump in on other operational projects and priorities as needs change throughout our busy season.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and operational data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Good judgment and a customer-service mindset when supporting team members.
  • Previous experience in operations, administration, logistics, retail, warehouse support, or a similar environment is a plus.
  • Full-time availability Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., from October through December 2026.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Competitive hourly wage of $22/hour.
