  • Clean spills, debris, and other materials from warehouse floors and work areas.
  • Help keep warehouse aisles, walkways, entrances, and common areas clear and safe.
  • Perform basic facilities and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and addressing minor clogged drains.
  • Identify and report spills, damaged equipment, maintenance issues, and workplace safety hazards.
  • Safely use and store cleaning chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow workplace safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
  • Move between floors and work areas throughout the shift based on cleaning and facilities needs.
  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks independently and respond to additional cleaning needs as they arise.

  • This position is fully onsite in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
  • Current shifts may be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Associates may work approximately 24-40 hours per week, depending on business needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have previous experience in janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, housekeeping, sanitation, warehouse cleaning, or facilities maintenance. Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Have previous experience such as a Porter, Custodian, Cleaner, Janitor, Housekeeper, or Facilities/Maintenance Technician. Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Are comfortable cleaning restrooms, warehouse areas, break rooms, offices, and other shared spaces.
  • Can use or learn to use floor scrubbers, commercial vacuums, mops, cleaning tools, and other custodial equipment.
  • Can safely use cleaning products and follow instructions for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Can work independently and complete assigned cleaning tasks with limited supervision.
  • Can move between multiple floors and work areas throughout the day.
