GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager  leads and maintains a high-performing team in a fast -paced, competitive and fun working environment. The BDR Manager is a player-coach, and is the source of knowledge and best practices amongst the team. The BDR Manager hires, trains, onboards, and mentors new BDRs. 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for day-to-day hiring, training, coaching & general oversight of BDR team.
  • Coaching & Mentoring: hands-on development of BDR team’s skills through various 1:1s, coaching sessions and ad-hoc best practices. Ensure  team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring 1:1s.
  • Hold the team accountable to high standards of professional habits that lead to superior performance.
  • Driving the team to hit monthly targets through positive and motivational feedback.
  • Track  team performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Own the collective KPIs for the BDR team.
  • Effectively utilize our sales & marketing tech stack to ensure operational efficiency and data-driven decisions.
  • Train members of the BDR team to contact and create qualified opportunities.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
  • Work closely with Sales and other members of the leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes.
  • Collaborate with other go to market leaders to drive improvements to overall sales processes.
  • Work in collaboration with Content, Marketing Program Managers, and Product Marketing to execute effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned leads.


EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years of relevant sales leadership experience
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for a technical product - leadership experience is highly preferred
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Technical and operational acumen, particularly with tools like Salesforce (CRM) and Outreach (Sales engagement)
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Pardot, DialPad, Asana, Development is a plus but not requiredExcellent people and management skills to interact with customers, partners, staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in sales operations and/or marketing automation software preferred
  • Training in consultative sales methodologies is preferred
  • Passionate about teamwork and Positive Mental Attitude
  • Self-motivated, high-energy and discipled professional
  • Strong leadership skills. A magnet for talent, an excellent teacher.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with track record of problem solving and bringing proactive solutions to drive team & company performance
  • Demonstrable enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional self-improvement, namely in the area of sales or leadership
