ZeroFox is hiring a Content Marketing Manager to own the content engine behind zerofox.com. You will turn one strategic theme each quarter into a pillar guide and the blogs, glossary pages, gated assets, and LinkedIn series that link back to it, so search and AI-engine authority compounds over time. You will also help shape ZeroFox's long-form research reports, including the annual Key Forecast Report, and support campaigns and programs across the marketing team.

This is a hands-on, in-house role. You will plan, write, edit, optimize, and publish most of the content yourself, while briefing and editing internal contributors and SMEs across Product Marketing, ZeroFox Intelligence, and ZeroFox Disruption Labs.

Reports to: Director, Content & Digital Experience

Works closely with: Product Marketing, ZeroFox Intelligence, PR and Social, Marketing Operations, Design, and Web Development

What you'll do

  • Plan the quarter: Pick each quarter's theme from the product roadmap with Product Marketing, run keywords through SEMrush, map keywords to content types, and schedule every piece in the Content Calendar
  • Asset delivery: Deliver 2 pillar guides (3,000–5,000+ words), 8–10 supporting blogs, 2–4 glossary pages, and 2 gated assets per quarter, each tied to one of ZeroFox's five solution areas
  • Competitive search: Write 1–2 competitive pieces a month on high-intent keywords where competitors rank, with claims that are credible and defensible, and refresh comparison pages
  • Optimize for SEO and GEO: Write and edit so content ranks in search and gets cited by AI engines. Refresh declining pillars before writing net-new
  • Run contributor programs: Take blog pitoces from internal authors, assign target keywords, edit for brand voice, SEO, and GEO, and publish
  • Publish intelligence: Build Intelligence Hub posts from ZeroFox Intelligence reports without altering copy, and get Flash Reports live within 24 hours
  • Support long-form research reports: Partner with ZeroFox Intelligence on flagship reports like the annual Forecast Report, plus white papers and e-books. Shape structure and narrative, edit for clarity and brand voice, and turn each report into blogs, social posts, and campaign assets
  • Support marketing programs: Write and edit content for campaigns, product launches, and demand gen programs, including landing page copy, product and use case pages, and email copy. Work with Customer Marketing on case studies and with Product Marketing on launch messaging
  • Social support: Write two LinkedIn series (4+ posts each) and one employee advocacy pack per quarter, and write resource page copy for new gated PDFs
  • Measure and report: Partner with Marketing Operations on monthly reporting, and use the results to decide what gets produced or refreshed next

What you bring

  • 5+ years in B2B content marketing, with a portfolio of long-form web content (pillar pages, guides, or e-books) you wrote yourself
  • Strong writing and editing skills: you can match a brand voice and edit SME and analyst drafts without losing their expertise. You have helped produce long-form research reports, white papers, or e-books
  • Hands-on SEO: keyword research, SERP analysis, content briefs, and internal linking strategy, using Semrush or a similar tool
  • Working knowledge of GEO, or a clear point of view on how AI search changes content strategy
  • Experience publishing in CMS systems
  • Comfort reading performance data (traffic, rankings, organic entry share, content-influenced pipeline) and turning it into a plan
  • Proven ability to run a content calendar, support multi-channel campaigns, and juggle many stakeholders, with the judgment to prioritize against a fixed capacity
  • Experience using AI writing tools, such as Claude, responsibly: outlining, drafting, and editing with human review

Nice to have

  • Cybersecurity experience preferred, ideally writing for security or threat intelligence audiences such as CISOs, SOC analysts, or physical security leaders
  • Familiarity with topics like attack surface management, brand and domain protection, executive protection, or dark web intelligence
  • Experience writing competitive comparison pages
  • Experience with Marketo, Asana, and Google Workspace
  • Experience managing an internal contributor or employee advocacy program

How Success is measured

  • Hit the quarterly output baseline
  • Grow organic search
  • Reclaim competitive search terms
  • Support demand gen and sales
  • Build AI search visibility

The Other Stuff

  • Total compensation: $200,000 to $250,000 OTE.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision (Cigna)
  • 401(k) with 3% match, 100% immediately vested, no cliff
  • HSA with quarterly company contributions
  • Generous time off
