About the role


Prosperous Insurance is a growing, relationship-driven insurance agency affiliated with a broader ecosystem of companies. This role offers meaningful opportunities for professional growth, expanded responsibility, and long-term career development within Prosperous and its affiliated organizations.

We are seeking a licensed Property & Casualty insurance professional to support and grow our commercial and personal lines business. This role is P&C-focused, with primary responsibility for advising clients, placing coverage, and providing ongoing service across business and personal risk needs.

While Property & Casualty will remain the core of the position, Life & Health products and licensing are viewed as a future growth opportunity for candidates interested in expanding their expertise and impact over time. Similarly, the ability to obtain multi-state and eventual 50-state licensing is part of the long-term professional path for this role, supporting our nationwide client base.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with business owners, helping them manage risk more holistically and, as the role evolves, participate in the development of broader insurance and benefits strategies.

The ideal candidate is relationship-oriented, consultative, and highly skilled in Property & Casualty insurance, with the desire to grow alongside the company.


What you'll do


Sales & Client Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals, networking, outreach, and strategic prospecting.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client operations, exposures, and risk management needs.

Property & Casualty Insurance (Primary Focus)

  • Advise business clients on commercial coverages including workers’ compensation, general liability, commercial property, and related risk-management solutions.
  • Support personal lines clients with auto, home, renters, and other P&C products as needed.

Client Advisory & Ongoing Support

  • Conduct risk and coverage reviews for business and personal clients.
  • Assist with applications, underwriting, quoting, policy issuance, renewals, and coverage changes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for claims questions and ongoing policy service.

Program Development & Growth (Forward Path)

  • Participate in the development of customized insurance and benefits programs as client needs and licensing expand.
  • Grow into broader advisory responsibilities, including Life & Health products, based on interest, licensing, and business demand.

Compliance & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, carrier offerings, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty license required.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses, with 50-state licensing as a long-term goal.
  • Life & Health licensing is preferred but not required and may be obtained as part of future role development.
  • 4+ years of Property & Casualty insurance sales or service experience.
  • Strong consultative sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and client-first mindset.


Planstin's Employee Benefits: 

  • Total compensation will be include a base salary range of $70,000 with monthly commission opportunity based on new and retaining business. Commission opportunity is structured to increase base salary over $100,000+

The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 100,000 USD per year (USA)
