Product Marketing Lead

About Poggio

Poggio is bringing the power of generative AI to sales teams. The Poggio platform leverages the cutting edge of AI to automate large portions of the enterprise sales workflow, including account planning, account research and meeting prep, deal reviews, territory planning, and QBRs. Poggio augments the capabilities of salespeople so they can spend more time building relationships with their customers, and less time on inward facing prep work.

We're reimagining the day-to-day of sales workflow and changing the way that sellers build relationships and earn trust with their customers. We're developing our product alongside the best enterprise sales teams on the planet, and are deployed in production powering their day to day sales motions.

We’re supported in our mission by world-class investors from Accel and Spark Capital.

Our team is remote first, with opportunities for occasional in-person collaboration. We have a slight preference for SF / NYC, but we’re flexible on location — our top priority is finding the perfect fit.

About the Role

As the first Product Marketer at Poggio Labs, you'll play a critical part in owning how we present ourselves to users, customers, and the broader market. We’re looking for someone that’s a product marketer at heart, but can flex to other areas of marketing.

We have all of the ingredients to build a truly transformational company: intense customer love to work with, with quotes and recordings that are occasionally bordering on unbelievable. We've heard "this is the holy grail" on more than one occasion from public company sales leaders. We want someone that’s eager and hungry to take these ingredients and work marketing magic.

We’re flexible on seniority for this role. You could be a senior marketer that wants to roll up their sleeves as a player/coach, or a senior IC that wants the chance to build from the ground up. We want someone with a need to win, that thrives in unstructured and quickly evolving environments.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Messaging and Positioning: Develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that makes use of the intense customer love that we’ve developed to date. Responsible for creation of all related marketing assets, including the website, sales enablement material, videos, and more (we’d like you to help decide where we focus!)

  • Product Launch and GTM Strategy: Lead the strategy for introducing the Poggio product to the market, ensure that the message resonates with all relevant stakeholders– sales reps, sales leaders, enablement and value engineering leaders, and analysts.

  • Sales Enablement: Equip the GTM team with the necessary materials and content to effectively pitch and close the Poggio story.

  • Market and Competitive Intelligence: Continuously analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions on positioning, pricing/packaging,  and product development.

  • Buyer Persona Development: Regularly update and refine buyer personas in collaboration with the product and UI/UX teams, ensuring that our marketing strategies align with customer needs and journeys.
