About the role
Get ready to be the dishwashing hero in our sparkling tale of suds and smiles!
$16 /hr
What you'll do
- Load, run, and unload the dishwasher with utensils, glassware, cookware, plates, and trays in a fast and efficient manner.
- Ensure all dishes are clean and sanitized before they are put away on dish racks or used.
- Maintain the dishwasher area to make sure it is clean and organized and that the wash cycle is always sanitary and operating at peak performance.
- Mop and sanitize the dish room, kitchen floors, and dining room hallways, remove trash at the end of each shift to maintain safety and sanitation.
- Sanitize work areas. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Assist with deliveries and basic food preparation tasks.
- Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous dishwasher or kitchen steward experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and tools.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
