Pay rate: $18-$24

Essential Job Duties
· Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests.
· Quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food in accordance with our preparation and execution standards.
· Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability.
· Accurately utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, countertops, walk-in coolers, and storage areas, to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
· Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
· Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively to ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
· Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed.
· Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
· Follow all safety procedures.
· Execute opening and closing procedures.
· Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Previous experience as a Cook in a high-volume environment.
· Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
· Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.
· Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time.
· Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs.
· Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from the kitchen to tables.
· Must be able to safely use a ladder.
