About the role


Calling all Culinary Enthusiasts with a Swing for Adventure!

As a Prep Cook, you'll be the culinary maestro behind the scenes, preparing delectable delights that energize our guests and elevate their experience on and off the course. 


up to $20/hr based on experience


What you'll do

  • Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests.
  • Quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food in accordance with our preparation and execution standards.
  • Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability.
  • Organize and stock ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth workflow during meal service. Notify the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation in all the kitchen areas, including equipment, countertops, and storage areas, following food safety regulations..
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, receiving supplies, and notifying the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure food quality and freshness.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and workflow.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a prep/line cook in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
