About the role

As a Local Marketing Coordinator at PopStroke, you are the face and personality of our brand — both onsite and in the community.

The Local Marketing Coordinator is responsible for driving all local marketing efforts for their specific venue(s). This involves utilizing their market knowledge, staying informed on upcoming events, identifying key partnership opportunities to increase overall brand awareness. The Local Marketing Coordinator is responsible for researching, planning, and executing outreach efforts that support their market. This role will collaborate closely with store-level and corporate teams to ensure alignment on branding and marketing initiatives.

Candidates must live in or relocate to market.

Compensation

         Hourly based on market and experience (Full-Time): $22-26/hr


What you'll do

  • Represents PopStroke in a positive, professional, and engaging manner at all times
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of all PopStroke offerings, including food & beverage, weekly happenings, memberships, events and more
  • Spends most of the time out in the field, building relationships and attending events with local businesses, schools, sports teams, Chambers of Commerce/Convention & Visitor Bureau, etc.
  • Leads the planning and execution of in-store and off-site marketing initiatives, serving as the point of contact
  • Assists with all aspects of the partnership process, including research, negotiation, and management, based on approved standards and budgets
  • Captures brand content for social media
  • Collaborates with the corporate team to develop an annual market-specific plan to maximize brand awareness and maintain consistent messaging
  • Generates weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports outlining the impact and return on investment of outreach efforts and partnerships
  • Provides feedback to ensure growth and improvement
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Outgoing, energetic personality with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred
  • Previous experience in hospitality, event marketing, promotions, or guest services is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and organized self-starter able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently, both independently and collaboratively
  • Microsoft and/or Google products proficient
  • Ability to travel up to 80% within the defined area and required to live within the defined area
  • Ability to work nonstandard hours, including nights and weekends, to support events and activities that promote the brand
