Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Technical Implementation Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of custom solutions (such as flight request systems, shuttle booking systems, etc.) for our enterprise aviation clients. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements, managing the design, documentation, integration planning, and project execution of tailored solutions that support business aviation operations.
You will work cross-functionally with enterprise customers, internal engineering teams, and product stakeholders to ensure the successful rollout of mission-critical tools used by employees of Fortune 500 companies to book and request private air travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead professional services engagements with enterprise clients to gather and document business and functional requirements, use cases, data flows and corner cases for flight request and shuttle booking workflows.
- Assess customer systems (e.g., HRIS, identity platforms) to design effective integrations, including API reviews and data mapping.
- Translate customer requirements into detailed user stories and development tasks in JIRA.
- Draft clear Statements of Work (SOW) that define project scope, timeline, and acceptance criteria.
- Project manage development efforts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of features, managing trade-offs and identifying blockers.
- Perform pre-release integration testing and troubleshoot reported issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular customer demos, gather feedback, and identify any development gaps or change requests.
- Proactively manage scope, expectations, and delivery timelines to prevent scope creep and ensure alignment with original project goals.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on customer-specific shuttle and request configurations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in solutions delivery, implementation consulting, technical project management, or professional services, ideally in a SaaS or aviation context.
- Proven experience gathering and translating functional requirements into technical deliverables.
- Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations, and modern enterprise IT environments (e.g., HRIS, identity management, ERP systems).
- Hands-on experience writing Statements of Work (SOW), business requirements documents (BRDs), or similar documentation.
- Strong project management skills with experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or similar.
- Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate independently, managing many enterprise client projects in parallel.
- Familiarity with private aviation, corporate travel, transportation logistics, flight operations software or business aviation systems is a strong plus.
- Technical background (e.g., computer science or systems engineering degree) is helpful but not required.
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
