Job Summary


We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our Owner Portal development team. Portside’s Owner Portal is a digital platform designed to streamline the management and communication process for aircraft owners and operators. It provides a centralized location where aircraft owners and operators can access important information and manage various aspects of their aviation assets. Key features include real-time access to aircraft data, financial reporting, document management, and communication tools. The portal is intended to enhance transparency and efficiency, making it easier for owners to stay informed and make decisions regarding their aircraft.


The Owner Portal team includes frontend and backend developers, QA engineers, product managers and designers. You’ll be working with a team of professionals who are in love with aviation, eager to share their knowledge, and captivated by the idea of building a world-class flight management software.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Create and execute test cases to ensure the company's products meet quality standards
  • Test web and mobile applications (iOS, Android) to identify bugs and issues
  • Perform API testing to confirm data is sent and received correctly
  • Write clear and detailed bug reports to help developers understand and fix issues
  • Maintain and update testing documentation like test plans, checklists, and user guides
  • Work closely with developers to understand new features and create relevant tests
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project goals and timelines
  • Help identify areas for improvement in testing processes
  • Follow the company’s testing standards and guidelines

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of commercial experience in software testing
  • Experience in testing Web applications
  • Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS, Android)
  • Experience in API testing
  • Experience in creating and executing test cases, checklists, writing bug reports
  • Experience in writing and maintaining testing documentation
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
  • Upper Intermediate level of English
  • Great troubleshooting skills
  • Strong motivation and willingness to learn
  • Practical and results-oriented engineering mindset
  • Desire to build reliable and efficient solutions
  • Interest in business aviation and in becoming a domain expert in the field
