About the role

We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Account Executive to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving our sales efforts within the legal industry. Your primary focus will be selling our LegalTech solutions to law firms nationwide while collaborating with our experienced Sales Directors and leadership team to grow our client base and strengthen our market presence. Leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence, we are transforming the way clients manage injury claims, enhancing efficiency, precision, and customer satisfaction. What you'll do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including outbound outreach, product demonstrations, and relationship-building to drive conversions.
  • Generate new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing law firm clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Engage with prospects both in person and virtually, developing strong relationships, demonstrating product value, and successfully closing deals.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to connect with key decision-makers and strengthen business relationships.
  • Deliver exceptional client support via phone and email, consulting on their needs, offering tailored solutions, and driving product adoption.
  • Monitor client engagement and proactively identify opportunities to increase revenue, retention, and overall account growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to stay informed on updates, share market insights, and contribute to company growth.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years in a similar role or relevant Account Executive/Sales experience.
  • Sales Approach: High-activity, metrics-driven, and well-versed in predictable revenue models, with the ability to adapt to Precedent’s sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with case management or matter management software is a plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Quick learner, comfortable with new systems and processes. Proficient in Microsoft Teams, CRMs, and digital-first communication.
  • Solution Selling: Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate SaaS demos for multiple attorneys in dynamic sales environments.
  • Startup Mentality: Thrives in a fast-paced, growing tech startup with a passion for innovation and career growth.
  • Team Player: Professional, responsive, and relationship-focused, with a service-first mindset toward colleagues and clients.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range $80 - 110K, commensurate with experience
  • $125 - 150K On Target Earnings Potential
  • Fully remote work environment
