About the role

  • The developer will be allowed to work a Hybrid schedule, Downtown Orlando office and partial Remote
  • We seek a highly skilled IT Interface HL7 Developer with expertise in Epic Bridges, Iris, and/or Ensemble to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining healthcare interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange and integration within our IT systems. 

What you'll do

  • Interface Development:

    • Design, develop, and implement HL7 interfaces, particularly with a focus on Epic Bridges, Iris, and/or Ensemble.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand interface requirements and specifications.
  • Integration Testing:

    • Conduct thorough integration testing of developed interfaces to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies identified during testing phases.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with IT teams, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand workflow processes.
    • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to establish and maintain effective data exchange.
  • Documentation:

    • Create comprehensive documentation for interface designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation reflecting changes and updates to interfaces.
  • Technical Support:

    • Provide technical support for interface-related issues, collaborating with the support team to resolve incidents promptly.
    • Participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues outside of regular business hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.(equivalent work experience may substitute)
  • Proven experience in HL7 interface development, with a focus on Epic Bridges, Iris, and/or Ensemble.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and protocols.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or other relevant languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Epic Bridges, Iris, or Ensemble.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant interoperability standards such as FHIR.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
