Job Summary
Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking a highly analytical Operations Analyst in the Fort Collins, CO office. This is a hands-on role working directly with a Senior Operations Analyst in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will work closely with a Senior Operations Analyst in a highly collaborative, two-person team environment.

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Build, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using SQL and Power BI
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate large operational datasets
  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and ensure accuracy across reporting pipelines
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests from internal stakeholders and clients
  • Analyze operational performance metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Maintain, improve, and automate reporting infrastructure as business needs evolve
  • Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and automate workflows

  

Required Qualifications  

  • BA/BS in business, finance, or related analytical field
  • Strong understanding of the quantitative analytical methodology 
  • Experience with consulting/contract work
  • Knowledge of database design and data structures
  • Experience related to telecommunications or power & gas is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of analyst or consulting experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL (writing queries, joins, aggregations, troubleshooting)
  • Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI (or similar tools)
  • Python a plus
  • Google sheets a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience working with operational or claims-based data
  • Familiarity with telecommunications or utility industries
  • Experience with Python for automation or data processing
  • Exposure to data pipelines, ETL processes, or data warehousing concepts
  • Experience working in fast-paced or consulting environments

 

Compensation and Benefits 

We offer a competitive salary ($60,000 - $70,000 based on experience), plus annual bonus potential. Along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:

The pay range for this role is:

60,000 - 70,000 USD per year (PRG Fort Collins, CO)
