JOB SUMMARY:


The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for MARKET customers, focusing on onboarding, engagement, and retention. This role will build trust and relationships with pharmacies, ensure they achieve maximum savings, and help them integrate MARKET into their daily workflows. The Account Manager will use data-driven insights to demonstrate value, foster customer loyalty, and drive repeat purchases.

The ideal candidate is a registered pharmacy technician with at least three (3) years of pharmacy technician experience and has strong interpersonal skills with a passion for helping customers succeed. Experience in account management or customer success is preferred.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Customer Onboarding:

  • Initiate a multi-channel welcome outreach to new customers, ensuring a smooth introduction and establishing the Account Manager as their primary point of contact.
  • Conduct a kick-off call & training to introduce MARKET, understand customer needs, goals, and purchasing behavior, and provide a consultative product training focused on areas of interest.
  • Develop a Success Plan summarizing the kick-off call conversation, listing goals, actions, and milestones for success.
  • Use personalized savings insights to showcase MARKET’s value during onboarding.

Customer Engagement and Retention:

  • Conduct structured post-onboarding check-ins until customers establish consistent purchasing habits and become regular users, transitioning to quarterly check-ins thereafter.
  • Use a consultative approach to build strong relationships by understanding customers' unique needs and workflows.
  • Conduct quarterly check-ins to provide updates, share new savings opportunities, and ensure continued engagement.
  • Identify at-risk and underperforming customers using real-time dashboards and initiate targeted interventions.
  • Provide tailored incentives to accelerate purchasing behavior.
  • Manage escalations by bringing in other teams (customer service, IT, etc.) when necessary, while remaining the primary point of contact for the account.

Customer Insights & Performance Optimization:

  • Drive increased purchase frequency and order size through strategic account management.
  • Upsell additional products and services that align with customer needs.
  • Cross-sell other PrimeRx products and services that align with customer needs.

Collaboration and Feedback:

  • Partner with the Director of Account Management to refine engagement strategies and processes.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to improve MARKET features and functionality based on customer needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered pharmacy technician with a minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience (required).
  • Experience in account management, customer success, or a similar role (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and data analysis tools (preferred).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This is a remote role requiring a home office setup and occasional travel for customer engagement and industry events.

The salary for this position may vary depending on the candidate's location due to regional cost of living differences. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, experience, and educational background. As such, the salary range is subject to adjustment to align with market conditions and company policies.

The pay range for this role is:

55,000 - 65,000 USD per year (Remote)
