About Prince of Travel

Prince of Travel is seeking an experienced Junior Writer to join our team. As a member of our Content department, you will play a role in shaping the voice of Prince of Travel, especially for potential customers who are completely unfamiliar with our brand. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting compelling articles for various platforms, including social media content and scripting videos.

Responsibilities:

• Write Breaking News articles and select Deals/Partnership content.
• Create social media content and repurpose articles for our social media accounts 
• Support both the Lead Editor and Editor in Chief on blog-related tasks
• Support the publication of both blog posts/articles and social media posts
• Ghostwrite articles in the Miles & Points space
• Support Senior Writers/Creators with select research

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in writing (ideally in social media and/or blogs) , preferably in the travel industry or a related field.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your skills in writing engaging hooks and persuasive content.
• Excellent command of the English language, with exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Knowledge of the Canadian Miles & Points industry (desired)
• Keen attention to detail (especially the written word)
• Desire to build a career in the travel and tourism industry (preferred)
